Sean Vesely, owner of The Hot Rod Shop of N.C., has been a Street Rodder all his life. Sean enjoys his work, and meeting all the hot rodding greats.

"It's very rewarding as an artist, and a craftsman to know that there are many of my creations being enjoyed by many avid rodders! Streetrodding and the people who own them are some of the best people in the world!"

In 1963 at the age of 6, after seeing a neighbor's model A coupe, the fate was sealed
Into cars now, at the age of 9 Sean built a motorized go-cart from wood and a lawnmower engine.
When Sean was 16, he bought a 1931 Ford 2 Door Sedan, that became his first Street Rod. Learning to weld, Sean chopped, channeled, and powered the car with a 421 Pontiac H.O. and a 350 Turbo. That 'rod' was Sean's first ride to high school.
Although there was a 33 Ford fenderless pickup in between, Sean always wanted a Roadster. Completing the roadster in its first generation, Sean finished high school in that streetrod
Done over in 78', the 'A' bone is still in Sean's garage looking much the same way
Since then a multitude of streetrods have been built by Sean, but the most fun was "the Coupe".
Being a throwback in many ways to his childhood, the Coupe was the regular car for about 4 years.
In 1991 Sean's new ride became a 33 Chevy Woody. That rod now carries a family of streetrodders around to many different runs around the country.
